Insurance Customer Service Representative
Our dynamic team seeks a professional, enthusiastic and goal-oriented individual to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and policyholders. This CSR position will be full-time with room for advancement. Must have excellent communication, computer and customer service skills. Duties include assisting customers, taking payments, answering the phone, office tasks, assisting with claims, providing support to other co-workers, being able to multi-task and handle a busy office setting. Insurance Customer Service Representative Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming call, directing traffic and general inquiries
- Accurately helping customers pay bills (Cash, Checks & Credit Cards)
- Demonstrate accuracy in processing client information based on the data given
- Learn the software systems used by the companies to be able to communicate effectively
- Perform monthly transactions and reports
- Assist with agency marketing
- Keep accurate log of customer conversations
Duties & Responsibilities once Licensed:
- Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
- Be able to process orders, forms, applications, or requests
- Learn to identify customer needs or desires in order to recommend the appropriate product or service
- Quote products for new and existing customers
- Review quotes, sell new policies and review current policies with customers
- Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
- Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available
- Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved
Insurance Customer Service Representative Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
- Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills in English (Bi-lingual a plus)
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer & typing skills
- Energetic, Friendly and Outgoing
- Works well in a team environment
